Biography
As a neuro-ophthalmologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in diagnosing and treating visual conditions that are caused by the nervous system. I have a passion for helping patients with complex neurological eye disorders and eye misalignment conditions, including crossed eyes.
Patients can always expect comprehensive and compassionate care when they come to see me. My goal is to help each patient manage their eye conditions and improve their quality of life.
Building long-term relationships with my patients is essential to me. My approach is based on having a deep understanding of each person’s unique medical history and needs, and I use this information to craft highly personalized care plans. I am committed to supporting my patients throughout their care journeys and working together toward their vision goals.
I am incredibly grateful for the mentors who have guided me throughout my career. Their expertise, support, and dedication inspire me to go above and beyond for my patients every day. I’m thrilled to be back at Ohio State and working alongside such talented and supportive colleagues. I look forward to contributing to our community and making a positive impact on our patients, our team, and future ophthalmologists.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr. Casey was able to answer all my questions and provide transparency, which I appreciated
Phenomenal- I trust her knowledge and care plan established. She connects and communicates with me better than any other provider in my healthcare team.
All good. Dr C leveled her discussion to my level of clinical understanding which provided for an efficient discussion.
She worked hard to try to get a specific reading to help my double vision.
The best doctor I have visited so far helped me to understand the issues snd treatment plan
Excellent. Dr. Casey is very knowledgeable and caring.
Seemed very knowledgeable, and desiring to gather all information to make sure she got things right the first time
Great
Very knowledgeable..awesome optical acumen great caring personality
My provider was kind enough to squeeze me in for a new medical problem. She was exceptional in every possible way. As a physician, I would like to believe I know what good looks like. She exceeded all exceptions and was exceptionally good. I cannot express how positive everything was.
Excellent
I enjoy Dr. Casey as a provider. She is very thorough and explains medical issues well. She even laughed at my jokes.
She was overall good, but she had to leave early to handle personal matters, which I did not appreciate, given that I had been at this appointment for FOUR HOURS. It would have been nice to have at least 5% of that time be with the actual physician. She did a decent job giving me information about the primary concern of the appointment, but was very dismissive of the secondary concern. It was clear she was following a basic protocol, especially when I have such a complex medical history which could be affecting the current problem.
She was knowledgeable and thorough.
Excellent
