As a family medicine physician, I specialize in adolescent medicine, mental health care, family planning services, osteopathic manipulation, preventative medicine, women's and LGBT health. I use a holistic care approach to help patients manage chronic conditions such as arthritis, anxiety, asthma and diabetes. Forming meaningful relationships with my patients is important so I can serve as a partner in advocating for their health. My goal is to encourage individuals to take an active role in promoting their health and well-being through preventative medicine and health maintenance.
My favorite part about working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is the opportunity to participate in clinical care, education and research. Our collaborative environment and vast network of resources ensures that we will continue to provide our patients with the best care possible.
In my free time I enjoy running, doing yoga and spending time with my husband and two young boys. We enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, biking and exploring nature.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/21/2019, Dr. Barnett has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
