I am a board-certified internal medicine and pediatrics physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in primary care for patients across the lifespan, including transition care for adolescents and young adults.
My patients can rely on me for high quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers. I am an assistant clinical professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Doctor was very professional listen to what I was saying try her best to give a good care and resolve all my concerns.
My regular doctor is out for a while. She did a good job taking over my care in his absence.

Dr. McGuiness was attentive and explained our child's health issue and plan of action in a personal and easily understood manner.
She was understanding about the last medication not working out for my child, and found an alternative to it.
