Biography

As a certified nurse practitioner, my goal is to improve my patients’ quality of life through disease prevention, symptom management and assistance in regaining function and independence after a health crisis. I specialize in vascular neurosurgery and manage the recovery from conditions such as aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, carotid stenosis, cavernous malformations, hemorrhagic stroke, ischemic stroke and moyamoya. I believe in empowering patients to take a lead role in their own care.

I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Stroke Center because I’m passionate about the opportunity to influence and improve how patients manage their own health. Additionally, I have an amazing collaborator who shares my philosophy on patient care and management as well as improving survivorship.

In my free time I enjoy being outdoors with my family, cooking, crafting, reading, singing, swimming and playing volleyball.
