About Me

I am a nurse practitioner in the Division of Hematology at The James. I received my master’s degree in nursing from The Ohio State University in 2011 and have worked at the OSUCCC – James since 2014. In my current position, I treat patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, hairy cell leukemia and chronic myelogenous leukemia.

I enjoy being able to assist patients and families navigate this journey as their clinician, educator and advocate. It is an exciting time in cancer care as there are many viable, non-chemotherapy treatment options for our patients as a result of cancer research. As one of the largest cancer hospitals in the nation, The James offers state-of-the-art treatment options for our patients, including targeted therapy. I find it gratifying to see that our patients have received additional years of quality of life through these newer targeted treatment options.

My passion for medical care extends beyond my work at The James. In addition to participating in two medical mission trips to Haiti in 2013 and 2015, I frequently volunteer as a nurse at a free clinic hosted at my local church.
