Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Professional and easy to discuss medical conditions
I like both Dr B and his fellow. My entire appt lasted 3 hours. Me mostly waiting. This was an initial consultation for a difficult ongoing medical issue previously not diagnosed. So I imagine it took them a bit to read my charts and get some sort of idea what they were dealing with.
Dr. Burford is wonderful good listener, thorough, learned new info on my condition, great partner on my healthcare team, kind and friendly.

Outstanding visit with Dr. Matthew Burford. Explained everything in detail and answered all my questions and offered a referral to test my genetic (DNA) to further explore my neurological condition. Overall showed extreme empathy, answered ALL my questions and offered medical advice.

Dr. Matthew Burford is an amazing doctor. He is treating my neurology. I was in such pain prior. Today, I feel very good thanks to him. He always listens intently. I feel he understands any discomfort I may have had. Dr. Burford was and is thorough. He prescribed the right medication and returned my life to normal. I now sleep through the night. I feel blessed to have him as my provider.
