Biography

As a vascular neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in caring for patients who have had strokes. I also diagnose and treat conditions that can lead to a stroke, including carotid artery disease, cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) and intracranial aneurysms.

It’s an honor to be able to use my skills to help survivors of stroke and other neurovascular diseases navigate the physical and emotional journey of recovery. My patients and their families receive open communication and compassion when they come to see me. I recognize that survivors and caregivers are grappling with a life-changing event, and I look to bring joy and understanding to every encounter.

I believe research has power to transform clinical care, and I am excited to be part of The Ohio State Comprehensive Stroke Center and Neuroscience Research Institute. My colleagues and I are developing innovative solutions for stroke care with the goal of improving outcomes for patients in central Ohio and around the world.

My role also includes helping to educate the next generation of physicians. I am a clinical assistant professor of Neurology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

    Answered all questions Very supportive

I was very impressed with this "young" Dr with his knowledge and professionalism. He had a very good "bedside manner" And genuinely listened to me. Answered all of my questions.

  • Reviewed on Dec 29, 2025

The doctor was great. He came in prepared; had studied my chart and was prepared with questions he wanted to ask, explained my MRI and other tests; answered our questions and had a plan of what he felt should be done. Easy to talk to and understand. Definitely comfortable with him and feel confident with his knowledge and understanding of strokes.

Consulting and Related Relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
