About Me
As a vascular neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in caring for patients who have had strokes. I also diagnose and treat conditions that can lead to a stroke, including carotid artery disease, cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) and intracranial aneurysms.
It’s an honor to be able to use my skills to help survivors of stroke and other neurovascular diseases navigate the physical and emotional journey of recovery. My patients and their families receive open communication and compassion when they come to see me. I recognize that survivors and caregivers are grappling with a life-changing event, and I look to bring joy and understanding to every encounter.
I believe research has power to transform clinical care, and I am excited to be part of The Ohio State Comprehensive Stroke Center and Neuroscience Research Institute. My colleagues and I are developing innovative solutions for stroke care with the goal of improving outcomes for patients in central Ohio and around the world.
My role also includes helping to educate the next generation of physicians. I am a clinical assistant professor of Neurology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr Gusler was great!!! Very informative and listened to me aa well!!!
Great
Very knowledgeable about my problem and very helpful about questions that I had about the medical diagnosis
Dr. Gusler is one of the most amazing physicians I have ever seen and I have seen alot of specialists. He was so thorough explaining my stroke and why he felt I could titration and stop my Keppra after the last person I saw told me I would Have to take it for the rest of my life. I have never felt so satisfied after an appt.He explained that we would deal with each of my issues one at a time! I used to be a nurse and have worked with alot of physicians, I truly wish Dr. Gusler could be my PCP. I'm so glad I decided to make my 1yr followup appt in Gahanna.
All good
Experience was great. It's worth repeating how much I appreciated Dr. Gusler reading/knowing my history prior to meeting w/me. Honestly, It makes a world of difference In terms of needing to share my history for the 1st 10 min of a theoretical 15 min appt, or discussing ways to improve my health/wellbeing, what woks/doesn't work, why for the entire 15 min (plus in this case!) appt. Quite refreshing!
Dr Gusler is one of the best doctors I've ever had in my life. Him and his team are outstanding.
The Dr was very compassionate toward me and my diagnosis, I'd recommend him to others. He's very kind
I had excellent care at OSU and am recovering very well from the stroke. I am now concerned about testing for the possible brain aneursym.
Could not be better!
Ok
Dr. Gusler went above & beyond with my first visit to see him. Also he called with some important info to discuss.
The doctor was very friendly and was concerned about my health and explain things that I could understand saying. I didn't have all The Strokes that I thought I had that they were seizures.
