Biography
I am a pulmonary specialist focused on caring for patients with lung conditions such as asthma, emphysema and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). My role in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine also involves treating patients experiencing critical illnesses in the intensive care unit (ICU).
I offer a patient-centered approach to care that combines medical expertise with empathy to address a patient’s physical and emotional needs. I value the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients, provide ongoing support and make a positive impact on their health and well-being.
I take the time to actively listen to each patient and understand their unique experiences, challenges and concerns. This allows me to tailor treatments that best address their specific needs and foster a trusting relationship. My commitment to compassionate care ensures that each patient feels valued and supported throughout their treatment journey.
My academic background and clinical experiences have also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the continuous pursuit of knowledge. This commitment to lifelong learning inspires me to stay updated on the most innovative medical advancements to continuously improve patient outcomes.
I completed my residency and fellowship programs here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. It’s a privilege to now be able to pass on that knowledge in my role as a clinical assistant professor of Internal Medicine.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

My care provider was very courteous respectful
Dr Huang is simply the best! I think I was a complicated case, and he did a great job helping me get better and back to "regular" life. I appreciate him and all his efforts so much. Can't say enough great things about him!

He has a terrific manner and excellent, clear , concise explanations ! I wish he could be my primary physician. ........in the last year I have been dealing with medical dilemmas and Wexner Medical experiences have proven to be comforting , with experience and manner the key factors !
