At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Excellent , professional, great listening skills
Thorough snd good listener.
He is very good, he listens to me and explains anything I need to know about my health.
GreaKnowledgeable
This is specifically about Dr. Atai and not my usual PCP I was hoping for understanding, reassurance, or at least a plan to investigate the cause further. Instead, I left feeling unheard and brushed off.I understand that some back pain can be common, but the way this was communicated made me feel that my symptoms and discomfort weren't taken seriously. I hope the provider can be more empathetic and listen to patients' concerns rather than minimizing their experience. He also said don't expect this to go away in a day or two so this is gonna take a while. How is this normal to say to a patient who is experiencing so much pain and numbness and tingling sensation all over the lower body to say just live your life like this and we cannot really investigate further until you go to physical therapy. I couldn't even sit down for my appointment. I kept standing in the room to tell them that how much pain I was in. I drove to my appointment and it was so hard to just hear this from a provider. It was very sad.
Dr. Atai is great! Glad I found him.
Good
He is the BEST!
Good.
Good
Bueno
Excellent experience
Dr. Atai is such a good listener. He seems to "get it" very soon after I verbalize about a concern. I believe his medical knowledge is very good. He never makes me feel rushed, but instead like I have his undivided attention when I am in his office. He is a good communicator, and is very good on follow-through about my issues or things he has recommended that I do.
Nothing negative to report. The appointment was a well conducted and positive experience.
Great very communicative and thorough.
Excellent everything
