At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Dr.Meera Bhatt is the VERY best!!! She is very thorough, is very knowledgeable, personable, listened to me carefully and answered any questions I had. She also took all the time that was needed to take care of me. She is one of my very favorite providers. She cares deeply about her patients!

Dr. Bhatt is exceptional. She offers excellent advice and is very personable. I will be forever in her debt for prescribing statins for my high cholesterol. I am convinced that I should have been taking statins long ago, but my previous physician wrongly assumed I would be protected by my high HDL. Thankfully, he retired and Dr. Bhatt pursued the testing confirming my need.

Dr. Bhatt is a compassionate and very relatable physician. I'm so glad that I found her practice. Over the past year under her care, my health has improved greatly. I feel very well looked after. She is a thoughtful listentener -- especially when considering the impact of other pressures in my life such as the past critical illness of my elderly mother. I admitted that I was not always able to eat a healthfully as I would have liked during that two-month period when I was spending many hours at the hospital and then skilled nursing for her care. When I get good test results, she motivates and encourages me. But she also doesn't sugar coat the realities. I'm sure that if my test results were not as good as they've been during my past two visits, she would be firm and possibly even a bit stern. She was when I first came to her. When my initial test results were poor, she took rapid actions to schedule me with appropriate team members for their expert supervision. She monitored my case closely and I felt very personally cared for. I seriously believe that she has that special ability to connect with her patients in a way that can inspire their drive to work hard to improve what they can about their own health. I cannot imagine seeing anyone else as my PCP henceforth.
