About Me

I am a board-certified cardiologist and assistant professor at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center with specialized expertise in genetic arrhythmia syndromes, including long QT syndrome, Brugada syndrome, and early-onset atrial fibrillation. My clinical practice also encompasses the management of complex cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and hypertension.

I strive to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care and foster open communication with every patient. Working alongside a diverse team of experts, I aim to ensure that each patient receives care tailored to their genetic background, medical needs, and personal goals.

In addition to my clinical work, I lead research focused on the genetic basis of heart rhythm disorders and cardiomyopathies. My research seeks to bridge discovery genomics and clinical care, improving diagnosis and treatment for patients with inherited forms of heart disease.

Consulting and Related Relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Lancaster has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
