Biography
I am Megan Parisi, PT, DPT, NCS, a physical therapist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in neurological rehabilitation, helping adolescents and adults with conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system improve mobility, independence, and quality of life. I also enjoy working with older adults to improve balance, mobility, and confidence, reduce fall risk, and support independence in daily activities.
As a physical therapist in the Division of Neurological Rehabilitation within Rehabilitation Services, I care for individuals with a wide range of neurological and complex medical conditions including stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, functional neurological disorder, brain injury and concussion, vestibular and balance disorders, limb loss, and other conditions affecting movement and balance. I also have experience supporting individuals with cardiopulmonary and oncology rehabilitation needs.
My approach to care is patient-centered and collaborative. I work closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized treatment plans that address each person’s unique goals, challenges, and priorities. I use evidence-based rehabilitation strategies designed to maximize independence, improve movement, and help patients return to the activities that are most meaningful to them.
As a board-certified neurological rehabilitation specialist, I am committed to advancing rehabilitation care through quality improvement, clinical education and evidence-based practice. I am passionate about empowering patients with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to actively participate in their recovery journey and achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Megan Parisi has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
