Biography

I enjoy my career as a women’s health nurse practitioner because I’m passionate about caring for women throughout the life span, from adolescence through menopause. In my role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I provide gynecologic care and well-woman visits. I see patients for family planning and contraception, including long-acting reversible methods like IUDs, and I support women through pregnancy and breastfeeding. I also help train future providers by serving as a preceptor for women’s health nurse practitioner students.

When patients come to see me, they can trust that I will meet them where they are and create an individualized plan of care that best suits their needs and values. I take pride in listening to patients and addressing their needs in a collaborative approach. I have been honored to be rated in the top 10% of physicians in the nation for patient satisfaction.

Before becoming an advanced practice provider, I originally found my passion in caring for women while working as a labor and delivery nurse at Ohio State. I had the privilege of providing care to a diverse population of women and their families during a very special time of their lives.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband, our two boys and our goldendoodle. We enjoy outdoor adventures, being active, traveling, and checking out new restaurants that Columbus has to offer. We love sports and were born Buckeyes, but also love supporting our alma mater – UC Bearcats!
