"I chose to become a family medicine physician because I am passionate about having a positive impact on each person who comes to see me. In my role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I help patients of all ages optimize their health and achieve their wellness goals. I emphasize preventive health measures while also helping manage and treat chronic conditions, and I have a particular interest in women’s health.I am highly personable and my patients can expect a warm and inviting approach during our appointments. Medical practitioners can meet people at their most vulnerable moments, and it’s a privilege to support, motivate, and educate patients and their families. Each patient’s story is unique, and they can rely on me to listen carefully to their concerns and questions. I believe nurturing the patient-doctor relationship enables me to make a positive difference.
I always strive to empower people to actively change their lives for the better, and I find it deeply rewarding to contribute to my community. The ability to treat and prevent illness, while also helping patients build a sense of overall well-being, keeps me focused and energized."

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Always very courteous and takes any questions or concerns seriously.
The provider talks too much and did not allow me chance to truly explain what I need. She talk over you, and when there wasn't a good understanding, she kept talking explaining in circles, as if it was going to alleviate the question that I had the answer was never provided. I continued to feel like I was going in circles.
Information changes from appointment to appointment and I have some issues with trust due to that
Dr A is phenomenal - hands down the most amazing doctor I have ever had. She is knowledgeable, kind, wise, caring, proactive. OSU is BLESSED to have her on their staff.

I waited for 3-4 weeks for an appointment for an urgent condition. Provider spent less than 10 minutes total talking to me. She did not give me a chance to speak or share relevant health information. She did not even ask how I was feeling.

As a new patient, I was hoping the doctor would be more happy and friendly to see a new patient. Ask a little about me, almost like ice breaker questions. Greeting was not warm, was standard and robotic. She didn't ask about shots or advise me if I should receive any (ie. Shingles). She was knowledgeable, requested bloodwork and offered some suggestions. However, I just didn't feel a connection or bond that makes me feel like I want to return after this visit. This is important for me as a patient.
Dr. Adusumalli was thorough, professional, knowledgeable and showed great concern for my health.

My previous provider was at OSU in Upper Arlington. He retired and his office refused to keep his patients. I had to scramble to find a new one. Thank God I found Dr. A. She is wonderful. So kind and caring. She truly listens and cares. She makes me feel like I am her only patient. She is the best.
