About Me
As a neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I am focused on providing the best care possible to critically ill patients and doing all I can to help them recover.
I specialize in vascular and neurocritical care, which means I commonly treat patients who have experienced an ischemic stroke or intracranial hemorrhage.
The neurological intensive care unit here at Ohio State stands out for its state-of-the-art care. Our exceptional multidisciplinary team has the talent and expertise to take on the most complicated cases, and I am proud to be part of it.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am involved in helping to standardize best practices with an emphasis on always advancing patient care. I am currently part of the writing committee working on new clinical practice guidelines for brain death. My research interests are focused on traumatic brain injury and intracranial hemorrhage. I am also a clinical assistant professor of Neurology and I help train medical students in the neuro ICU.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching sports and documentaries.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Zaghlouleh has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
