At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. The provider was amazing. Not only did he make sure to order all of the relevant testing and prescribe me the best medication he thought there is to treat my chief complaint for the visit, but he also educated me quite a bit on my autoimmune condition and I left his office understanding my body a lot more. I also enjoyed hearing that he is very reachable via myChart and I can reach him on the platform anytime and get a response within 48 hours, and that he is starting the new prescription dosage small and is willing to altar it weekly until we find what works for my body.

Sometimes I am seen by a PA and not told ahead of time. I have to ask if I am being seen by the doctor or not. However, he very carefully explained why he was cautiously increasing my prescription by only one half of a pill rather than more and asked if splitting a pill would be too difficult
