About Me

My true life's passion is helping people. Through medicine, and specifically neurology, I can combine my inquisitive nature and work ethic to make my patients lives' better. Additionally, the complexity of the peripheral nervous system and advancements in the field of neuromuscular disease compels me to constantly increase my knowledge of disease processes and treatments to best treat my patients. I aim to help patients lead their healthiest and most productive lives.

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is special because it truly is a community, a team, all working towards the common goal of improving patients' lives. This can be achieved in ways beyond patient care since mentoring students and conducting research play a significant role at the medical center and my own career.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, biking and other outdoor recreation.

I never get the feeling he really cares about me or difficulty my disease presents. A resident was there to get me checked in, it was clear he DID care, listen, explain symptoms, possible adjustments to my care.

I always had a very good visit with Dr Isfort. He is a good clinician and always performs clinical examination and reviews past vis notes to follow me progress.

No one seems to know what's wrong with me. I cannot seem to get straight answers. He is putting me on a medication that I've already tried but could t remevr why I stopped at it was 15 years ago and now he wants me back on it. I am in misery daily, totally exhausted. My husband drove me three hours and I didn't cry this time but I am in agony. I am forgetting things and I feel like an 80 year old woman when I walk. Something feels wrong with me, I just know it. My blood pressure was told to me to be good and my primary dr checked it three times in one appointment and it was good all times. Three hour drives mess with my nerves, my muscles and my blood pressure. I usually have difficulty after 30 minutes. I am having issues sleeping and in pain all the time. I don't understand why I have a little of this and that wrong with me, the symptoms and my test results are just ignored or blamed on my type one diabetes. I have maintained a 6.5 blood sugar for at least two years. I am getting worse. I can't seem to get any real help, I have been dealing with for five years and it is affecting my quality of life.
