Biography
I am Michael Luttrull, MD, and I specialize in neuroradiology, with expertise in head and neck imaging, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My practice focuses on advanced diagnostic imaging of the brain and spine, as well as the head and neck, to help guide accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
As a radiologist at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, I am committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered imaging interpretation that supports exceptional care across a wide range of neurological and head and neck conditions. I serve as section head of Head and Neck Imaging, and as the associate division chief of Neuroradiology, in the Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Medical education is an important part of my work, and I have been honored by resident physicians in Ohio State’s Radiology Residency Program with consecutive Faculty Teacher of the Year awards. I am also a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), the national medical honor society. Through my clinical, educational and leadership roles, I strive to advance excellence in imaging while helping patients and care teams make informed decisions about treatment.

Academics and research
I joined the faculty at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in 2011 and currently serve as the section head of head and neck imaging and the associate division chief of neuroradiology.
I'm an active participant in local and national service roles, including the James Hospital Head and Neck Cancer Multidisciplinary Team and the American College of Radiology Appropriateness Criteria Panel. Additional honors I have received include being consecutively awarded the Faculty Teacher of the Year in Radiology by Ohio State radiology residents in 2013 and 2014 and holding a membership in Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), the honor medical society.
