About Me

As a physician, I specialize in internal medicine and sports medicine. I believe it is important to have my patients participate in their treatment and care plans. If multiple solutions are available, I discuss the pros and cons of each option, while ultimately letting the patient decide on which option they feel is the best fit for his or her individual needs.

What I find most enjoyable about working at The Ohio State University is the collegiality among faculty members as well as the efficiency of having all medical records easily accessible on one computer system.

When I am not working, I appreciate any time that I get to spend outdoors or with my family.

I wish he had suggested more options for further treatments along with information of expenses (ex. costs for exams etc.) I also appreciate if they arrange schedule for exams/treatments right away and give information they need to pass so that the next provider know what the patient's problems are.

Dr. Tiso was my primary physician years ago before I had brain surgery, and was part of the process when it was detected. He remembered me and was excited to see me. It was a great experience and an excellent surprise.

Not my physician & he looked up my previous CT scans during our discussion as they pertained to my symptoms. I felt that proved he listened to me & wanted to provide complete care for me.
