About Me
As a physician, I specialize in internal medicine and sports medicine. I believe it is important to have my patients participate in their treatment and care plans. If multiple solutions are available, I discuss the pros and cons of each option, while ultimately letting the patient decide on which option may be most beneficial for his or her individual needs.
What I find most enjoyable about working at The Ohio State University is the collegiality among faculty members as well as the efficiency of having our patients' medical records easily accessible on one computer system.
When I am not working, I appreciate any time that I get to spend outdoors or with my family.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr. Tiso ran against the stereotypic image of an orthopedist instead of rushed, he was deliberate, made an easy rapport instead of completing my sentences, and overall established a clear next steps. I suspect he is very good with kids.
