About Me

As a physician, I specialize in internal medicine and sports medicine. I believe it is important to have my patients participate in their treatment and care plans. If multiple solutions are available, I discuss the pros and cons of each option, while ultimately letting the patient decide on which option may be most beneficial for his or her individual needs.

What I find most enjoyable about working at The Ohio State University is the collegiality among faculty members as well as the efficiency of having our patients' medical records easily accessible on one computer system.

When I am not working, I appreciate any time that I get to spend outdoors or with my family.

All good! Dr. Tiso gave me an alternate treatment to surgery in the event the shots don't control my pain. The alternative to surgery is something I'll be considering.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Tiso, and I'm a fan. At times male doctors can be dismissive of women's pain, and he listened, asked questions, and was very thorough.
