About Me

As a neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in stroke, acute neurological emergencies, intracerebral hemorrhage, ischemic stroke, traumatic brain injury, ischemic stroke and telemedicine.

I believe in providing my patients with quality care that is tailored to their unique needs. There is essential progress being made by our multidisciplinary team to ensure that these needs are met and that the best health care is provided to our patients.

What I enjoy the most about working here at Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center is the strong commitment to quality care.

In my free time, I enjoy relaxing with my family, traveling, attending Ohio State football games and spending time outdoors.

Consulting and Related Relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

As of 03/26/2018, Dr. Torbey has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
