Biography
Licensed by the State of Ohio Medical Board since 2012, I have the utmost pleasure of being one of the Inpatient Massage Therapists here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I currently rotate between The James Cancer Hospital and The Ross Heart Hospital along with performing chair massages, to assist a research study on Patient Experience with the outpatient Radiation Oncology team at The Stephanie Spielman Breast Center. I have been fascinated with clinical work since deciding to go back to school for Massage Therapy while also working as an AA for OSUWMC. I tried the more traditional Massage Therapy spa work, but it just wasn't in my heart. So, after working in a few Chiropractor offices and owning my own business, I decided to jump at the chance to come back to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2016 to help grow the still burgeoning Inpatient Program.
Being a Soprano by training, I love singing anywhere I can. It is a great stress reliever for me and I love engaging with my patients when I find they have the same passion for music. Beyond that I run (yes for fun), cross stitch, read, bake and spend every moment I can with my husband, John, our young daughter and our two high energy rescue mutts.
