About Me
Women’s health is such a unique field. We get the privilege of being with patients on the best days of their lives and the responsibility of supporting them on the worst days. I have always been heavily influenced by strong women in my life and I consider it a privilege to work with and support women in my career.
Patients are more than just their medical issues and I treat each person’s whole well-being—mind, body and soul. I love getting to know each patient and their families, and take pride in listening to each patient to develop a personalized approach to care. I collaborate with my patients through every step of the process to make sure they are comfortable with the treatment plan and that all of their needs are addressed.
I recently finished my training at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami in Florida, which is a large, metropolitan medical center with patients from all over the world. Working there taught me how important cultural influences can be during patient interactions. This prepared me to provide the best women’s health care here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Ohio State Wexner Medical Center is a unique place in that it’s incredibly supportive of everyone who works here, which makes it a wonderful place to practice medicine. Each physician here has unique experience and a unique background that makes collaboration extremely beneficial in providing the best, most up-to-date care for our patients.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and son as well as our dog, Riley. I enjoy being outside in nature including gardening, hiking and swimming. We love all sports but cheer especially for the West Virginia Mountaineers, Cleveland teams, Miami teams and, of course, the Buckeyes!

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. My husband and I left our last OB at 16 weeks pregnant because of poor care in another network. Dr Casto heard our concerns, listened to my family medical history with preclampsia, and came up with a preventative treatment.My husband and I were both very impressed with her patient care.

She took the time to explain each part of her exam in advance and findings during/after, asked questions that I hadn't brought up because I thought she wouldn't have time to address them at this visit, and provided extremely helpful advice and recommendations. Dr. Casto is the best OBGYN. She goes above and beyond to make you feel cared for and understood. Going through a traumatic experience previously, she helped me through this new pregnancy and never made me feel bad when I had anxieties while also relieving those anxieties. I truly think she is one of a kind and by far the best provider I have ever been to.

Dr. Casto was incredible throughout my entire pregnancy and is by far my favorite doctor I have ever seen. She's so caring and supportive and was always able to ease every anxiety and answer all our questions. She always presented all possible options, and helped guide us to make the best decisions for our family. I was lucky enough that she was able to deliver our baby as well, her calming demeanor was such an asset during this process. Dr. Castile gave me some bad news during this appointment and she was very comforting and explained everything in an easy to understand way. She followed up with me later that day and the next day as well.

It felt rushed and not specific to me. She had me submit a sample for a test, but I feel like if we had had more time to discuss, she would have concluded it was not needed. (Pregnancy test for late period, but really within range for me personally).
She was very thorough in her explanations and assured me with her professional advice/opinion with all of my questions and concerns.

Absolutely no bad experiences with this visit- everything was much better than expected. I had been dreading this appointment (it was my first OBGYN visit) for about a year leading up to the appointment. I was surprised that I had to wait about a year to see Dr. Casto, but I am truly so glad that I had her as a provider for this appointment. I disclosed that I was extremely nervous for this visit, and I could tell that Dr. Casto truly cared about making sure I was comfortable, and built trust right away that will keep me coming back as a patient. Dr. Casto explained every step of the exam along with the reasoning behind each step, and answered my (many) questions along the way. I'm sure that my appointment took longer than she expected, but never once did I feel rushed or stressed. She was incredibly personable and patient. Dr. Casto was EXTREMELY accommodating with my exam and empowered me to be active in my health journey. I am so incredibly thankful that she was the provider for my first-ever OBGYN appointment, and I can't recommend her enough. I hope she sees this feedback so she knows how wonderful she is!

Molly Casto is, by far, the best OB/GYN I have ever had. She is attentive ti my needs. I told her my potassium was down and my PCP sent a prescription for me. Dr. Casto explained low potassium to me. Last summer, I had an issue with an old surgery. She immediately sent a referral AND called the doctor she sent me to in advance of my visit. I had been having issues and thanks to her, I was able to get it fixed.

Dr. Casto is top notch. She listens to every concern and has so much good information to share. I have a cluster of issues ranging from PCOS, ADHD, suspected EDS, PCOS, and diabetes. She masterfully talked me through each and every concern. She knew a lot about the interplay between my conditions and my feminine health.

I see Dr. Molly Casto for both of my pregnancies. I'm currently in my 3rd trimester of my second pregnancy. I had a few rough weeks when I learned that my fetus had VSD. By then I was scared and didn't know what to do. Dr. Casto was so warm and gave me a lot of support in terms of explaining upcoming procedures, monitoring all my test results real time and giving me suggestions based on the results. I was very scared when I needed an amnio test. Dr. Casto even cleared up her calendar on that afternoon and went to the amnio test with me. She was holding my hand when the other medical team did the amnio procedure on me. I was very moved and feel very luckily to have Molly being my ob/gyn doctor.
From my first appointment, I have felt incredibly comfortable with Molly and confident in the care she provides. I am grateful for her thoughtful guidance through my pregnancy.
