Biography
As a physician assistant specializing in sports medicine and orthopaedics, I treat and manage conditions such as shoulder pain, shoulder instability, labral tears, rotator cuff tendonitis, rotator cuff tears, biceps tendonitis, biceps tendon tears and musculoskeletal pain. My goal is to help patients regain function and obtain a better quality of life through multiple treatment modalities. I believe in carefully assessing conditions on a case-by-case basis, and providing optimal care that’s individualized to the unique needs of each patient.
I completed my undergraduate education at Ohio State, so I am very happy to be a part of the Buckeye community again. I enjoy working at Ohio State because of the excellent patient-centered care we provide as well as the opportunity to pursue my passion of helping others to the best of my ability.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, biking, being outdoors and spending time with my children.

Very good and professional
Knowledgeable about my case
Showed concern
Was late, didn't listen to what u was saying, told her about a reinjury, she put jt off to my neck issue i'm having.which it's not and I know it's not.
Very nice and good
The PA who saw me was late (not upset about that, since as a physician myself it happens), She did not seem to know anything about my case or who I was. All her answers were, "I will talk to Dr. Bishop". This was my first post op visit. I had many concerns and questions but she had no answers. She did not know me nor that I am a physician and previous orthopedic surgeon, now consult and minor procedures only. I had questions about when my next surgery would be, and did they send out the 3d ct scan already to prosthetic manufacturer since it was done right after my surgery and I am very anxious to get the real revision done so I can get back a functioning shoulder. I had questions about my complication of brachial plexus neuropraxia and about my left shoulder pain. Everything was answered with "I will tell Dr. Bishop". She did call me back but only to tell me when they will inform me of the next surgery timing. She did examine my hand but just to see if I could move it in all directions. The nerves are working but I have no strength which she should have checked.
Very friendly, informative & helpful
Caregiver and very empathetic
