Biography
I have worked at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center for many years and am an ATRA (American Therapeutic Recreation Association) member. My areas of clinical concentration are brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and oncology patients. I have been accepted to present at 2 national conferences. Before my days at the OSUWMC I was an activity therapist with the Franklin Country Department of Developmental Disabilities. Since joining the team at Dodd Hall, I have furthered my interests and knowledge by obtaining a Level II certification in Reik. My departmental partner and I began the CRE (Community Re-Entry) program that assists patients with getting back into the community after they are discharged. I enjoy using various activities and resources to improve a patient’s emotional, physical and mental well-being.
