Biography
I am an anesthesiologist specializing in pain management at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I see patients for conditions including back pain, spinal fractures and diseases, basivertebral nerve ablation, isolated joint pain, nerve injury, extremity pain, painful neuropathy, cancer-related pain, and failed back surgery syndrome.
My patients can expect an evidence-based approach tailored to their specific needs. I incorporate emerging approaches and well-tested methods to improve each patient’s quality of life and ease their pain. I also strongly believe in a multidisciplinary approach to patient-centered care, so I involve patients, their families, and their other health care providers in treatment decisions.
I have been recognized for my contributions to clinical care. I am a top-searched anesthesiologist per Doximity Rankings.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Very pleased with him. Very professional, but down to earth and friendly. Compassionate.
Good
Nothing was bad everything was good
Good
Very empathetic.
Good experience with Dr Hussain; jovial and puts you at ease while doing a good job and knowledgeable during the procedure
I have severe medical trauma from nobody listening to me and always thinking I was looking for pain medicine. They actually are taking care of the pain for me with no prescriptions per my request.
Just felt that he doesn't have any real concern, hardly any going over MRI results
Excellent
Dr Hussain addressed my concerns regarding the medication
Very good
Dr. Hussain is first rate. He explained everything, was courteous, fast and interested in my prognosis.
Loved his demeanor, very friendly, warm and assuring.
Listened to my concerns and responded with answers
Attentive, formulated a good game plan
Interested/caring, took time to explain what I can expect regarding time for the procedure I had performed to take effect
If care provider means doctor, his communication skills were abysmal, he may be skilled but not recommended
He is very kind, knowledgeable and listens to my concerns, answers my questions.
Excelente
Great bed side manner and skills
