Biography
As a rheumatologist, I diagnose and treat patients with various musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthropathies and systemic lupus erythematosus. My patients can rely on me for comprehensive and compassionate care personalized to fit their unique needs and values. I always take the time to address my patients’ questions and concerns and ensure that they thoroughly understand their condition and treatment options.
I’m excited to continue my career at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I chose to pursue academic medicine because of the opportunities to treat patients with the most complex conditions and stay at the forefront of innovation in my field. I also appreciate the collaborative environment and multidisciplinary approach here at Ohio State, and I’m proud to be part of such an exceptional team.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Navin, showed a higher degree of, care, concern, and interest than most other doctors. I realize there are mandatory time constraints that effect the length of appointments, however I most often feel that my input is not heard.
