Biography
I love my job as a primary care physician treating patients of all ages at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I take care of everyone from premature newborns to older adults, and I have special expertise in treating complex conditions such as cystic fibrosis (CF).
I particularly enjoy working with teens and young adults to help them transition from pediatric to adult specialty care. I also work with the Center for Autism Services and Transition (CAST) at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, a comprehensive program offering primary medical care for adult patients on the autism spectrum.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring medical students and residents. I am an assistant clinical professor of Internal Medicine in The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, portraiture and spending time with family.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

She is very good provider .She answered all of my concerns
I absolutely loved our appointment with Dr. Teacup. I might even switch to her for my primary care provider, she took the time we needed to meet with us and showed so much compassion.
Dr. Teekappanavar is always engaged, an active listener and offers a practical approach.
She's always nice
She is the absolute beat. We couldn't ask for better care. We have already referred several families to her
Always a breath of fresh air. Easy to talk to, and explain what is on my mind.
It felt like because it was late in the day before the weekend and she was behind. My overall health did not factor into this specific matter. It also felt like in lieu of creating a real plan that would take effort, I was asked to collect data for something that has been happening for a year. If I had specific data in regards to the problem I would have presented it. It has been a year of inconclusive information. I came because I am ready for next steps not journaling the condition
Knowledgeable
The doctor is very thorough and addresses all issues with my autistic son.
My child is autistic and non verbal. Provider understood the issue and was able to make us comfortable.. Not just my child.

I'm ticklish and after telling the doctor, she did a great job and I did not roll off the examination table in laughter.
Always concerned about me personally
Dr. Neha Teekappanavar is extremely bright but yet so down to earth and easy to correspond with.
Only have good things to say about Dr. Teacup. Our grandson is very at ease with her. She listens very carefully and shows obvious interest and concern.
