About Me
I love my job as a primary care physician treating patients of all ages at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I take care of everyone from premature newborns to older adults, and I have special expertise in treating complex conditions such as cystic fibrosis (CF).
I particularly enjoy working with teens and young adults to help them transition from pediatric to adult specialty care. I also work with the Center for Autism Services and Transition (CAST) at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, a comprehensive program offering primary medical care for adult patients on the autism spectrum.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring medical students and residents. I am an assistant clinical professor of Internal Medicine in The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, portraiture and spending time with family.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

I'm very glad to have moved over to the OSU system. The speed with which results and analysis are provided is exceptional. I very much appreciate Dr. Teekappanavar, she is extremely knowledgeable, provides actionable coaching, Is very thorough and takes a common sense approach.
Provider did not do a full work up regarding my health concerns. Provider seemed dismissive. I ended up having to order labs through a 3rd party company and they were out of range. I do not feel that my health concerns were taken seriously.
