As a psychologist, I specialize in the development, delivery, and dissemination of specialized clinical interventions for youth and young adults who are early in the course of a psychotic disorder or experiencing the early warning signs of a burgeoning psychotic disorder. I'm especially proud to have established and direct the Ohio State Early Psychosis Intervention Center (EPICENTER), which is one of the largest specialized clinical programs for individuals with first-episode psychosis in the United States.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/21/2019, Dr. Breitborde has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
