About Me
As an adult reconstruction orthopaedic surgeon, I specialize in treating conditions causing degradation of the hip and knee joints. I use a combination of various non-operative treatment methods to improve patients’ symptoms in addition to performing joint replacement surgery. My areas of interest include outpatient total joint replacement surgery, short hospital stays and rapid recovery. I perform both partial and full knee replacement surgery, and I perform hip replacement using conventional approaches as well as muscle-sparing techniques. I also specialize in examining patients with painful joint replacements performed in the past and treat problems related to infection or instability of prior joint replacements. I focus my knowledge towards developing treatment plans that are specific to each patient's diagnosis and needs. I devote undivided attention listening to patient issues and would be pleased to take care of you or your family members.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Listens, doesn't rush you - just a great doctor!
Fantastic physician and surgeon. Listened to my problems about my knee and how it impacts my lifestyle. Offered options besides surgery but agreed with me that, given my active lifestyle, surgery was the best option. My recovery is well ahead of where I should be at the 6 weeks mark and my surgerical scar looks like it was closed by a plastic surgeon-barely noticeable.

Very pleasant and thorough
I was a little intimidated at first but then felt more comfortable. I had been to a few other doctors and was trying to decide who I felt good about doing my knee replacement. My prior meniscus surgery by a different doctor only made my pain worse. Dr Greco was was also hands-on similar to the resident. I am going to follow up in few months and I asked specifically to see Dr Greco bc I want to feel comfortable about my decision. I know it's probably protocol to see PA but it's important for me to ask my questions to the doctor and decide on best course of action. This will affect my quality of life tremendouslyincluding work and physical exercise. Dr Bill Barson referred me to Dr Greco and his recommendation came highly.
