Biography

As an orthopedic surgeon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in treating hip and knee issues. I work with patients to explore all non-surgical options first, and I regularly perform total joint replacement and reconstructive procedures.

I am passionate about helping people recover from injury and return to the activities and lifestyles they enjoy. My approach centers on tailoring treatment plans to best suit each patient’s specific needs and goals. I believe in shared decision-making with my patients, and they can rely on me as a partner in their health care journey.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am active in research efforts. I am currently focused on strategies to improve outcomes for patients who undergo hip and knee surgeries. I have published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and have presented findings at orthopedic conferences across the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia. I have been honored to receive several awards at national conferences for my research in hip and knee surgery.

My role includes helping educate the next generation of physicians. I am a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedics. I am also involved in professional organizations including the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).

He's been wonderful through my surgery and follow up care. Answered all my questions.

The Dr seemed more concerned about the under-staffing in his area than my concerns and cut me short several times. I'm not sure he even blinked during the short time we were together. I really felt rushed to get out. I didn't get to cover all my concerns with my knees and hip. This was my first visit with the orthopedic department, and I'm sorry to say I won't be going back. I will seek another opinion elsewhere. Which is a shame because my experience with OSU In other areas has been exceptional.
