Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Barbour has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Good
Dr. Barbour was amazing. I'm so happy she is my new primary care doctor.
Non responsive/poor communication, lack of care
Enjoyed talking with her. She made it easy to communicate with her. She's a very kind, caring doctor.
This provider does not take my needs seriously, or I would have gotten the follow up I needed for my accomodations. I am planning on transferring my care elsewhere to someone who cares enough to respond to me.
Dr. Barbour was amazing. She did have an emergency situation to address, but she let me know what was going on and we jumped right in. She made me feel heard and understood, and even asked me "how do you feel about it?". As a younger woman of color, it's hard to find doctors that listen and understand but Dr. Barbour was amazing.
My care provider was very nice and I felt comfortable with her and I liked that she listened to me
Excellent care provider
My doctor was very kind and knowledgeable
She was friendly and respectful.
My provider was very good helpful and informative and I had a good experience there
Great first meeting! Made me feel comfortable and was easy to share information.
This was my first visit with her and she was wonderful. She went over my medical records/history to make sure both of us were on the same page.
All my information was in the system yet it seemed like she didnt bother to read up on it.

Very courteous and listened. Didn't make me feel rushed. Was very thorough with answering questions, going over medical history, and confirming medications.
She was more focused on things that was irrelevant for my visit. Made me feel uncomfortable at times with her questions. Felt like I was being interrogated.
Helpfulness good Friendly minutes
Good
Sat down while talking with me, listened, made eye contact. She seemed interested in answers, she was not just clicking a box
Very good
Very patience
