About Me
As a physician assistant specializing in otology, I regularly treat patients for conditions such as hearing loss, tinnitus, inner ear balance disorders, cholesteatoma and more. My patients can expect individualized care and that I will treat them like family. I previously worked with patients at the Ohio State Hand Center, and I’m excited to expand my expertise in my role with the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
I love my job because I’m inspired by the science behind medicine, including the ability to be part of research efforts that improve patient care at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I also appreciate the rewarding opportunity to train future providers. In my role, physician assistant students often shadow me in the clinic.
I’m a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my children who keep me busy at the ice rink and ball fields. I also enjoy playing golf and pickleball.

Excellent
EXCELLENT. I have been dealing with hearing and tennitus issues for a long time. I have been to many ENT's to have it looked at and no one has help my condition until I came to OSU. Thank you for find a cause for my hearing loss and ear issues.
Excellent
Nikki is always personable and kind to my mother and family
Friendly and supportive
I visited OSU for a second opinion given its stellar reputation for medical care, but I felt the visit was a waste of time. Everyone seemed to be focused on the words "second opinion," and I didn't feel they looked very closely at my situation.
Nikki always gets me in to see her quickly.
She was patient, and took time and carefully examining me.
All good
Thorough kind professional. Helped me get appointment with another department at OSU Dublin.
Good
She scheduled me in asap when I messaged her regarding a possible ear infection and ear pain.
Nikki is true professional in all aspects of her job.
Very patient with me because I'm a wimp when it comes to pain. She never made me feel foolish about my reactions.
Nicki took the time to listen to my history and look at my ears. We talked about reasons for my hearing loss and what could be done to help it. A CT scan to verify conditions she could not see. Intibioticks to clear up a fungal infection and surgery to open up my ear canal.
Listened carefully to my concerns about new hearing aids and made good recommendations
Staff was very professional and courteous and I adore the check out lady. No problems at all.
She took her time with my exam, & went over my hearing test results. She was very thorough, professional and friendly.
Doctor Nikki knew her stuff, showed me the instrument she was using and had me watch on a monitor as she completed her excellent work.
Good listener, asked good questions, very thorough, gave excellent, understandable explanations
Excellent work
New consult provider.

I was Very disappointed when I left. My balance and my hearing is worse by the day
Listened and addressed my questions/comments
The care provider was kind and answered all my questions well and without rushing
Knowledgeable and friendly.
Compassionate and informative
Nikki Benvenuti was awesome!
Nikki was very interested in my concerns and educated me on what she was doing and options for future care.
Good experience. Due to good health I was only there for 5 minutes.
Always engaged and sweet to my 87 year old mother
Loved the tvs with the magnification to see inside my ears
Nikki is the best all around
Nikki was very knew what to do and did an amazing job cleaning my ears. She gave me advise to keep them unclogged. Love her!
I really felt listened to and understood for the chronic problem and frustration of not having a clear diagnosis of its cause.
Everything was fine
All good, nothing bad.
Nikki is fantastic always very professional and caring.
All good
Dr. Benvenuti was thorough. She ordered a hearing test to be completed before I saw her. That test confirmed a problem in my right ear. Dr. Benvenuti examined me, further confirming the problem. She used suction to remove wax from both ears and prescribed a steroid and told me to use Nasacort and pop my ears. The pressure in my ear disappeared in one day and I think my hearing is restored.
Very concerned and listen and help advice as far as something to help me with my problem
Personable and engaging
Very efficient! Addressed concerns
She explained the procedure she was going to perform and asked me several times how I was doing during the procedure.
The provider was rude. I was wearing a mask because I was getting over a cold. She looked at me a said "Why are you wearing a mask? Do you have COVID? I said no I tested negative twice for COVID and Influenza A/B. " she said people had been coming in with COVID yet she was not wearing a mask. I told her about my sinus, throat and ear problems. She said I can only look at your ears. She offered no assistance for referrals. Very short and rude.
Explained things well and made sure I heard what she was saying. Followed up after visit by phone and text.
All very good.
Nikki is the best
They were just amazing
In my opinion Nikki is the best at what she does. She is very thorough.
Very helpful and concerned about problem. Very nice person.
Typing without listening when I explained my issues -- writing in report that glands etc are normal -- she did not check/examine glands etc. I got feeling she thought I was imagining things and told me I was just carsick-- I drive 200 miles daily since 20 years and if I would be carsick Believe me I would know-- pushed me off to vestibular PT--- which I have been doing since 6 months with no success so why would I spend money on it--
Everything was excellent.
She really took her time and was very caring.
She was fine, but she seemed disappointed that my injury that I thought I might have, was not an injury that they could find.
Amazing, best doctors appointment ever!
No bad experiences. As already scored.
Pleased
Very comfortable. Listened to me and explained things thoroughly.
She is a bad #ss !!
Provider was good. Not very friendly.
Very friendly and competent
Great
Mrs. Benvenuti is the greatest!
Nikki provided me with follow-up options. She ensured I'll receive a CT scan at my local medical facility. She recommended a nose drop on line to purchase. Results of CT scan may elevate to seeing a nureosurgeon based on the results.
She was amazing! She was so patient and explained every single thing she was about to do and why she was doing it.
My care providers are phenomenal
Very good
Great
Provider was cleaning my ears and although the wax was hard, she wasn't sure what to do. She continued to poke until there was blood and then once again that made me feel suddenly very dizzy. She used two kinds of suction and I just was not at all comfortable with the treatment.
Good in helping
Nikki was so patient and explained every step very clearly. She reassured me constantly and I felt confident that she would help me.
Listens and explained things very well.
