About Me

As a physician assistant at the Ohio State Hand Center, I specialize in hand and upper extremity surgery. I manage a variety of conditions, including sports related injuries, joint replacement, tendon repairs and transfers, nerve repair and reconstruction and trauma injuries. I also help perform arthroscopy and microsurgery. My approach to patient care is simple; I treat all my patients as if they were my family.

Since graduation, I have worked in emergency medicine, orthopedic spine surgery and now, in hand and upper extremity surgery. I love solving medical puzzles from the history and physical to diagnosing and treating. I learn something new each day.

Opportunity knocked on my door when I was asked to interview for a position in orthopedic hand surgery. I easily made the transition from spine surgery to hand surgery and have loved every day since. My work family at the OSU Hand Center is great!

Between a fulltime career and two children, there isn’t a lot of free time. However, I manage to exercise three days a week and squeeze in a few dinner dates with my husband. During the fall, of course, I make time for my Buckeyes!

Was taken care very well. Very compassionate about my concerns an made sure my hand was taken care of so didn't get worse. I can't thank you enough cause if it wasn't for OSU saving my life/hands I don't know where I be let alone have my fingers to write you to tell you.

She did a good job explaining my injury, going over my X-ray, and providing me with option for my treatment. She has indicated that she does want to keep a close eye on it.

Your drs. and staff is very good. I don't think that I have had better care and concerns of any other hospital like OSU. All the people I have came into contact was really good better than good. It was a honor to be taken to your hospital OSU and the staff that has taken care of me at the different times I have had the honor to get to go to OSU medical. You have very very good drs. and staff.
