About Me
I’m a neurosurgeon specializing in open and endovascular neurosurgery. I am one of a small number of dual-trained vascular neurosurgeons in the nation. I received my medical degree from the Buffalo School of Medicine in New York, and I completed an internship and residency in neurological surgery at Georgia Regents University. Additionally, I finished a fellowship in open and endovascular neurosurgery at Emory University.
My research interests include the inflammatory and vascular response to subarachnoid hemorrhage, novel therapeutic modalities for complex aneurysms, evaluation of new devices and techniques for the treatment of neurovascular disorders, and the prevention and treatment of vasospasm. In 2019, I served as president of The Ohio State University Neurosurgical Society and was appointed as endovascular/cerebrovascular fellowship director.
I enjoy working in The Ohio State University’s academic setting, where I can participate in resident education, research and clinical care. Everything a patient needs for their treatment and recovery is here, and it is a privilege to collaborate with other providers who value excellence in health care. Together, we provide our patients comprehensive and individualized care.

In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
