Biography

I am an orthopedic surgeon specializing in spinal surgery, with particular interest in treating complex cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine conditions. I have extensive expertise in both direct and indirect compression techniques, performing minimally invasive lumbar and cervical decompression surgeries, and spinal fusion procedures. My practice also includes managing degenerative spinal disorders, spinal deformities and the effects of trauma.

I completed my residency training at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and I am excited to return and be a leader within the Department of Orthopaedics in The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I am deeply committed to academic medicine because I believe teaching, research and clinical care all intersect to drive better patient outcomes. My career in medicine has always been rooted in education and mentorship, and I am passionate about guiding the next generation of surgeons.

He understood the nerve pain I was dealing with and how limited it made me in my day to day. To be honest, I'm not sure if my leg pain was something that was in his expertise, because I scheduled an appointment for a "spine doctor", but he helped me and was asking questions to better understand my problem. He's great

Consulting and related relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
