About Me
My role as a physician in interventional radiology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and OSUCCC - James is to support patients from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up care. It is my passion to meet you where you are in this process and provide the care that fits you.
I commonly see patients for various issues including spinal and pelvic fractures, enlarged prostate (BPH), portal hypertension, arterial and venous diseases, kidney stones, venous compression syndromes, tumors and masses. For these conditions, I perform minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to give patients the best outcomes possible.
When patients come to see me, they can expect customized care tailored to their individual needs and values. I am always open, honest and responsive, and address all questions and concerns as best I can. My patients and their families inspire me every day to provide exceptional care, and I am committed to doing all I can to improve their health.
My current research interests include ways to enhance image-guided bone procedures and vascular-based treatments to address enlarged prostate. I am also focused on health care policy and clinical leadership strategies. I have published dozens of research articles in more than 20 peer-reviewed journals, and my work has been cited by others more than 1,700 times. I am regularly invited to present at conferences across the United States.
Serving as an associate professor at the Ohio State University College of Medicine lets me collaborate with other physicians and carry an interdisciplinary approach to patient care and teaching. I was fortunate to learn and work alongside some of the best, most specialized physicians in the country. My mentors offered personalized, proactive and compassionate care, and prioritized honest communication with patients. Through leading by example, I strive to instill the same positive attitude and professional ownership in the next generation of physicians.
My experience also includes multiple humanitarian trips to the Dominican Republic. Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and children. I also enjoy high-intensity interval training (HIIT) exercise.

In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
