About Me
I am an internal medicine physician and the co-director of the Ohio State Pre-Procedure Evaluation and Assessment Clinic at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where I provide clinical oversight and operational input. I collaborate closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team of anesthesiologists, nurse practitioners and nurses. My team and I ensure patients are medically safe and well-prepared for their surgeries, with an emphasis on both their physical health and peace of mind.
In addition, I offer primary care services at Ohio State Outpatient Care Dublin. My diverse background and clinical expertise mean I can capably address individual patient needs throughout their care. My clinical interests include women’s health and global health, and strategies to enhance perioperative medicine. Before transitioning to primary and perioperative care, I treated hospitalized patients at the bedside.
My patients can trust that their needs and well-being always come first. I provide compassionate, empathetic care and foster a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable. I provide direct and honest feedback, ensuring clear communication and trust. I strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for every patient.
Having completed my residency at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, I am thrilled to continue my career here in central Ohio. My invaluable experience in academic medicine allows me to offer my patients the most advanced care possible. I appreciate the vast resources available here that support clinicians across their professional journeys.
I also appreciate the opportunity to educate the next generation of physicians as a clinical assistant professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I also support residents and fellows as the associate director for the Global Health Scholars Program. This Graduate Medical Education program is designed to enrich trainees’ understanding of global health topics and provide experiential learning in resource-poor settings, with the goal of fostering a broader perspective and deeper compassion in medicine.
I am especially proud to balance my medical career with my other job as a mother. Outside of work, I love spending time with my two children.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Hardman has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
