About Me

As a family medicine physician, I believe in a holistic approach to patient care where physical and mental health are both important in a patient’s overall well-being. I enjoy empowering my patients to make the most of their healthcare.

I love working at an academic medical center like Ohio State where there are numerous resources for my patients as well as the opportunity to teach the next generation of family medicine physicians.

In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading and learning new languages. I also love to travel, both nationally and internationally.

Very understanding and empathetic for my reason for being there. Expressed more than once to feel free to contact her at any time if I needed anything.

This was my first visit to see Dr. McGuirk and I liked her a lot. My medical records had not been transferred yet, but she listened to the information I gave her and asked pertinent questions. I have a small issue with one of my fingers and she recommended seeing a hand doctor. She made the referral and someone called me the next day to set up an appointment.
