About Me

As a family medicine physician, I believe in a holistic approach to patient care where physical and mental health are both important in a patient’s overall well-being. I enjoy empowering my patients to make the most of their healthcare.

I love working at an academic medical center like Ohio State where there are numerous resources for my patients as well as the opportunity to teach the next generation of family medicine physicians.

In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading and learning new languages. I also love to travel, both nationally and internationally.

    Great listener, remembers personal details about me which puts me at ease, her knowledge and bedside manner allow me to be completely open and honest with my health concerns and status, which has been a personal problem for me in the past. She is so good at dicussing my health with my in a way that makes me feel comfotable and makes me feel that she is exploring the best option for me.

    I LOVE Dr. Mcguirk. She is open, easy to communicate with, a great listener, and very knowledgeable. I trust her completely, but even then she always ensures any decisions made are mine.

    Instructed personnel to draw labs ordered in MyChart all at once at my request to keep me from making another visit at a later date and extra veni punctures (usually hard).
