About MeAs a family medicine physician, I believe in a holistic approach to patient care where physical and mental health are both important in a patient’s overall well-being. I enjoy empowering my patients to make the most of their healthcare.
I love working at an academic medical center like Ohio State where there are numerous resources for my patients as well as the opportunity to teach the next generation of family medicine physicians.
In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading and learning new languages. I also love to travel, both nationally and internationally.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 12/20/2018, Dr. McGuirk has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
