Biography

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). I focus on providing psychiatric crisis care for patients who need immediate, but not emergent, treatment for mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I have a strong passion for assisting patients with mental health concerns through medication management and brief therapeutic interventions. My practice is focused on providing patient-centered, empathetic, comprehensive and evidence-based care for all who enter my office. I strive to ensure that all patients are heard, welcomed and treated with respect.

I decided to pursue psychiatry because I was exposed to a range of mental health disorders throughout my life. Seeing many family members and close friends live with mental health conditions and receive help from competent providers inspired me to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner.

My previous experience included working as a registered nurse in inpatient psychiatry at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Harding Hospital. My background and experience as both a nurse and a mental health care provider allows me to better assist patients and address all their needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy long-distance running, painting, reading fantasy novels, going to concerts and spending time with my friends.
