About Me

I am an obstetrician/gynecologist. This means that I care for women throughout their life span. I give extra attention to times when they are having gynecologic problems, as well as during the amazing process of having a baby, and beyond.

Helping women with breastfeeding, and all of the challenges that can go with it, is of special interest to me.

I enjoy getting to know my patients as people first and patients second. I want my patients to know that I care about their well-being. It's important to me for them to know that I am here to help them achieve their health goals.

One of the benefits of being at Ohio State is the depth of resources here. I appreciate having world-class, friendly and helpful colleagues in a variety of specialties to call on as needed for my patients.

In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors and relaxing with my family. I also enjoy knitting and crocheting.

I loved that the doctor asked SEVERAL times "is there anything else I can help you with/answer for you?" B/C she asked multiple times, it made me feel like she really cared. I've never had that before!

I really like Dr. Rudesill. She is very compassionate and empathetic regarding my health. She answers my questions and is very good at explaining things. She is very competent and positive in her demeanor, and I feel comfortable having her care for my GYN medical needs. She always says if I need anything before my next visit to call or email her (I really like being able to email my doctors).

very easy to talk to

I did not see my provider until 52 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. She dismissed my concerns about the reaction to the vaccine and treated me in a condescending manner. She also completely reversed her thoughts on an issue we had talked about in a previous visit and instead chose to lecture me about my decision. Though I was informed, she did not respect my choice, as she has disrespected other choices I have tried to make in the past. (This is for OB care)
