Biography
As an allergist and immunologist, I specialize in treating food allergies and allergic skin disorders. These conditions can affect anyone from children to adults and may severely impact a person’s quality of life.
I believe in providing patients with the tools and information about their specific condition. Patients can then take an active role in their own healthcare to reach their goals. I address my patients’ health concerns in a compassionate manner and assist them in reaching and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The people here at Ohio State are easily the best part about my job. My colleagues are always available to discuss difficult cases, and we have a level of teamwork here that is unparalleled.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time reading, going on runs and traveling.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Rekha Raveendran has reported no relationships with companies or entities.

Very friendly and attentive
Doctor was top notch
This is without a doubt the most productive appointment I have ever had with an allergist/immunologist. I have required specialist appointments for years, and so many physicians in this field dismiss me. I was approached as if I was the expert of my disease, and spoken to as an adult patient. It was such a relief.
Dr. Was clearly speaking to o my level of understanding and comprehension my problems and her go as l for improvement. Did not appear as all knowing God.
VERY good. Doctor was comprehensive with treatment as well as options for immunotherapy.
First time with this provider. She was helpful, kind and knowledgeable. What more can you ask for?
No problems
