Biography
As a certified nurse practitioner in cognitive neurology, I evaluate and manage patients with cognitive impairment and various dementias, including Alzheimer’s Disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, frontotemporal dementia and mild cognitive impairment.
I am passionate about helping patients and their families navigate the challenges of these diagnoses through education, counseling and shared decision-making. My approach emphasizes involving caregivers in individualized care plans to enhance coping skills and overall quality of life.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I coordinate our community education programs, focusing on increasing awareness and understanding of cognitive disorders. I am actively involved in research aimed at advancing our understanding and treatment of cognitive disorders. I help lead our anti-amyloid therapy program, helping to streamline patient access to these innovative treatments and support their integration into clinical practice. Contributing to both patient care and clinical research is deeply rewarding and allows me to help bridge the gap between research and real-world clinical practice.
I value being part of a team that delivers exceptional, evidence-based care while pushing the boundaries of innovation through the latest research. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is a remarkable place to work, learn and grow alongside colleagues who share a deep commitment to improving lives.
