About Me

I am a gynecologic oncologist and associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I also serve as the director for the Gynecologic Oncology fellowship program. I have a busy clinical practice and have consistently been rated nationally in the top 10 percent of physicians for patient satisfaction.

Born and raised in Springfield, Ohio, I received my medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio, where I was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. I completed a residency in gynecology and obstetrics at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. This was followed by a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. During this time, I also received my Master of Business Administration. After my fellowship, I joined the faculty at The Ohio State University.

Since joining the faculty, I have received numerous teaching awards from the medical students and residents. I have published multiple articles and book chapters with a focus on survivorship for women with gynecologic cancers and have served as the principal investigator on national and institutional clinical trials.

Additionally, I have been actively involved in national and international organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the International Gynecologic Cancer Society. I also currently serve on the Health Outcomes Research Committee of the Gynecologic Oncology Group and have served on the executive council for the Society of Gynecologic Oncology.
