About Me

I specialize in primary care, internal medicine and geriatrics. I’m passionate about primary care because I enjoy the long-term relationships with my patients. I enjoy geriatric medicine because there’s a great need in our society to care for the aging population.

I believe in providing evidence-based medical care, with a personal touch.

What I enjoy most about The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center are the tools I can use provided by the electronic medical record.

In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing with my family, traveling and movies. I also attend University of Michigan football games and perform regular medical mission trips to Honduras.

Listens!!! Never rushed through my concerns or list of discussion points (new patient). Followed up on needs with other specialties & provided referrals for other offices as requested by me or suggested for continued care when others' certificates/special knowledge/skills were required -

This was my first with Dr. Murden. He asked good questions regarding Dx. He order procedures that needed to be updated. The results of procedures were provided to me. His questions were very good. Left his office feeling he had a clear picture of my health.

Very focused on my concerns.

I don't feel that I know and understand what was causing my pain. The doctor seemed more concerned how I got the appointment with him. He didn't really go over my x-Ray or lab results with me, and didn't really explain what is causing me pain and what to do about it. To be honest, he made me feel stupid for coming in for having a lot of pain when he thinks I was just constipated. He never really talked about the cause of this or what a course of action relieve my pain and discomfort.

Dr. Murden is soft spoken and works to explain things and checks to be sure my mother understands.
