Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Harty has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
It was all good, again just another routine appointment.
I will never go back. This apt showed up on my chart , I went never met the guy , to be frank he couldn't care about me
I felt like he was rushing to get me out of the office and didn't really care. Every time I have asked this provider about the reason for my symptoms I'm experiencing he denies that it's related to my secondary adrenal insufficiency even though the hydrocortisone tablets he prescribes indicate that the symptoms I'm experiencing are rated to the medication.
My provider was polite and concise regarding my treatment.
Dr. Harty is amazing.
Provider is always good at communicating and explaining things addressed.
He was awesome as always
Dr Harty is just kind of quiet, I alsways feel like I have to pull information from him. He is very knowledgable and always has the answer I need in very layman terms. While asking questions about my thyroid eye disease and worring that it may be back he confidently answered with what they look for and responded tha he had not seem any of the symtoms at this time. This let me know he was very astute and watched me as he met with me
Really like Dr. Harty
Always respectful
He was very polite and professional. HE carefully explained how he planed to move forward with helping me for the condition I was there to see him about and took the time to ensure that I understood everything.
He helps alot and he is a good person to explain stuff to you to where you understand things better
The provider was very nice and easy to talk with
Super knowledgeable. Active listener. Gave me information easily understood. Did not rush.
I received enough time to discuss issues
All good.

He was very enthusiastic for seeing me, and dedicated time to listen. Usually his visit is very short, but this time was a little bit longer.
Was as normal nice ,and Polite.

Very attentive
Very polite and truly concerned about my issues
Dr.Harty has been very knowledgeable and thorough and has been excellent at communicating with me along the way.
First time visit. Very friendly and thorough with questions, etc
All good no bad
The doctor was both professional and caring. He explained what blood work needed to be done and why before I could get my yearly osteoporosis infusion. When one test care back below normal, he explained what would happen next. He scheduled my appointment for next year and gave me al list of walk-up clinics with labs in case the lab in his building was unusually busy.
Good knowledge, good listener
Very attentive to me and I liked that.
Professional, concerned, caring.
Always nice & listens.
Generally speaking, was very good.

All Good
Understandably cautious with my transition after my heart surgery. Just personally frustrated by having to restart therapy proceeding at smaller steps.
Have never had any bad experiences.
Very good.
This was a new patient appointment. I met my care provider for the first time. He was very thorough.
Always listens to my concerns.
Always helpful and concerned
Straight shooter, good provider.
Good knowledge.
My only worry was how long it was after the old endocrinologist left & the time before I saw the new. Medication had run out. HOWEVER, Dr. Harty explained the effects of the medication - how long it COULD be used, and he alleviated those worries.
He cares about patient, very thorough, very satisfied coming to this clinic.
Very efficient and good listener
Fine.
Dr Harty is a great Dr he listens and tries to do what you (the patient) wants
Dr. Harty is personable, knowledgeable, quick to respond to messages sent on MyChart. Provides easy to understand info, requested and incorporated my input in treatment plan.
Always informative and pays attention to what I say and answers any questions I have to my satisfaction.
He is very fast almost too fast, he's in and right back out not too interested in learning about the patients likes & dislikes or problems, they are having. He takes care of the problems you have and gets what you requested in a timely manner, I like that about him.
Dr. Harty is attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and responsive. My treatment with him has been one of the best, most consistently good things in my life. I'm very thankful to have him as my doctor.
Very good.
Nice
Spent right amount of time with me & asked questions that helped me more thoroughly explain small issue I was experiencing periodically.
Very good.
He was concerned that I had all my questions answered.
Provided good information and eased my concerns. A good visit.
Explained thoughly
Can't think of any things bad. The good was saving my life when I had pancreatic & gall bladder cancer. Also when I had diabetes the first time. I think highly of OSU & the doctors & nurses who gave good care they saved my life thank you will always come here.
Dr Harty answered all of my questions and concerns.
