I am excited to be a part of the team at The Ohio State University treating patients with a multidisciplinary approach. My goal as a physician is to use my education and training toward treating not only a patient's disease but also the patient as a whole. Rheumatologic conditions often affect different organ systems and several aspects of a patient's life. During my clinic visits, I value the time used to educate patients about their disease states and discuss treatment options. Being able to provide individualized care and see the positive impact and improvement in quality of life are the best parts of my day.
I regularly attend symposiums and educational programs held by the American College of Rheumatology to stay at the forefront of medical developments and research breakthroughs. I also have a strong desire to train new physicians.
In my clinic, I see a broad spectrum of rheumatologic conditions such as inflammatory arthritis, gout, systemic lupus erythematosus, sjogren’s syndrome, scleroderma, mixed connective tissue disease, myositis, polymyalgia rheumatica, vasculitis, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.
In my spare time, I enjoy culinary adventures as well as travel with my husband and playing musical instruments.
Please note: Not all physicians schedule patients at each listed location.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

I felt she did not listen to my concerns
Very poor communication with other Doctors In regards to my care
Dr. Chan is always very concerning on everything including my arthritis
I have seen several different Dr's through my years at OSUH. Everyone has been very Good.
Excellent
I've seen several rheumatologists and Dr. Chan is easily the best. She's knowledgeable, thorough, kind, patient, and explains things well.
Best ever
I Love Dr. Chan, she has helped me tremendously with my health issues. She always gets back to me on MyChart if I ask her a question. I have a TBI and she always makes sure to explain everything so that I understand.
Compassionate. Always like talking with Dr. Chan.
Dr Chan is the best provider I've ever had. She is caring and always remembers me. She looks for solutions to my complex issues.
Dr Chan is great at caring and understanding my illness. She is great about following up with me.

Friendly, helpful
Dr. Chen is incredibly thorough.
Dr Chan always treat's me like her only patient , always spend time with us always going up and beyond exceeded our expectations
Excellent Dr. Very professional and a great listener who truly cares for her patients
Dr Chan. Is a GREAT Doctor. All Good All Good
I see this provider for rheumatoid arthritis but she seems to always want to talk about my other conditions ( which are being treated by a different provider) and rarely addresses the RA much. She's nice and caring but since I only see her every 5 or 6 months for 5-10 minutes I really wish she would stay on subject.
She is terrific!
Dr Chan is by far the most caring doctor I have ever seen over the past 74 years. If it was possible I would want her for my primary care doctor.
