About Me
As a certified nurse midwife, I am focused on providing exceptional women’s health services and supporting families before, during and after the birth of their new baby. I am particularly passionate about aiding physiologic birth, family planning, campaigning for better maternity care, promoting the rights of patients and improving awareness of perinatal mood disorders. When patients see me, they can trust that I will provide compassionate care and support their individual choices.
In my role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I also offer well-woman exams and assessments for acute and chronic gynecologic concerns. I enjoy treating all populations and have a special interest in caring for underserved communities. Prior to joining Ohio State, I practiced midwifery at a federally qualified health clinic in central Ohio, serving a culturally and socioeconomically diverse population.
I am delighted to continue my career here at Ohio State’s excellent midwifery practice. It’s a privilege to work alongside such amazing colleagues, including the wonderful, collaborative physicians who provide the most well-rounded, patient-centered care possible.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family. I enjoy attending concerts and sporting events and traveling.

Went into lots of detail and care. She remembered things about me from over a year ago and I was so impressed!
I adore her. She always asks for consent before doing anything and explains everything she is doing while she does it. Excellent bedside care.
My provider explained the procedure to me and great detail before she started. She made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit there. This was my first time having an appointment with her and I'm very grateful that I was able to see her. She is absolutely amazing.
-SUPER patient -handled my anxiety attack with kindness and waited until I was comfortable to do the Pap smear -walked through the procedure from start to finish before doing it and during which was amazing and helped me be less scared-I appreciated that I was allowed to get redressed for the part before the Pap smear while we went over my history and goals/expectations of establishing care -was SOOO respectful of my pronouns (even on MyChart I could see they were right on the summary notesthank you so much!!)-literally one of the nicest people ever and I can't thank her enough for making the experience as comfortable as a first Pap smear could be (especially for someone with dysphoria and lots of anxiety)-I appreciated walking through what to look out for when doing at home breast exams, honestly had no idea what to do or look for for those so I never do until now
Great, answered all questions.
Great
Provider was very friendly
Sabrina followed protocol and was very professional as well. This provider did an excellent job listening to my questions and explaining each step of her instructions of the examination. Explained the medication and how to use It. Again a safe and comforting environment. Very friendly provider.
Very respectful. Listened well. Asked questions and explained more when I asked for clarification. First time having Sabrina and feels like I have known her for years.
Great Experience, Friendly, Attentive To My Concerns and Needs.
The provider did not address the one reason I made the appointment and changed my appointment from contraception to a general establish care visit. She was not respectful of my time and had a terrible bedside manner.
The provider was knowledgeable about my record before she came in and was kind to me and my mom.
The midwives at OSU are incredible & Sabrina followed suite.
The provider repeatedly told me that my medical history was too extensive. She said she didn't think she could help me. Then said that over and over and over as she performed my pap. She was supposed to follow up with me about my concernshe didn't. Ms. Given made me uncomfortable and dismissed my concerns.
Sabrina was very caring. I was really scared and nervous going into my appointment and she picked up on that.
Very respectful, listened carefully, non-judgmental
She was very compassionate and friendly
Good: 1. Sabrena continuously asked for consent and informed me of the next step of the exam process ("I'm going to touch your inner thigh first and then..."). 2. When my 9 year old daughter asked questions about the exam, Sabrena answered kindly, honestly and age appropriately. 3. At the end, I noted to my daughter that Sabrena asked for consent at each new step, so she reiterated that consent is important and can be given and taken away without any consequences depending on her comfort level, and thanked me for including her on the teaching moment.
She was not rushed at all & made me feel like she was listening to what I was saying
Good! Reassuring and thorough
