I am a Columbus native, where I received my Athletic Training degree from Capital University with competing 4-years on the Women’s Basketball team. Prior to joining the Lewis Center staff, I worked as an IRP Athletic Trainer for OSU, covering a variety of high and collegiate sports including, football, volleyball, basketball, and ice hockey. My clinical areas of interest include, lower extremity injuries, specifically ACL reconstruction and hip disorders, return to sport rehabilitation, and spine dysfunction. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, especially the Cleveland Browns and Buckeyes, traveling, hiking in various National Parks, and exploring new restaurants around Columbus with friends and family.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Samantha Sech has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
