Biography
I am an internal medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I diagnose and manage various chronic and acute conditions including hypertension, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, hypothyroidism, congestive heart failure and nicotine dependence. I also offer women’s health services and perform Pap tests.
My practice emphasizes disease prevention and treatment to help patients achieve and maintain their health goals. I also collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives the comprehensive care they need.
I am passionate about primary care because I believe it is the foundation for the health care system. It goes beyond wellness and disease prevention. I get to be an integral part of my patients’ health care journeys, and I show up for them every day with compassion. I also appreciate the opportunity to provide continuity of care, and I get to know my patients on a personal level. This allows me to provide holistic care, rather than just focus on physical symptoms. I strive to provide thoughtful, individualized care that empowers patients to take charge of their health.
