About Me

I’m a counseling psychologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, specializing in the evaluation and treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, suicide, personality disorders, and adjustment-related concerns. I provide evidence-based care, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and other Cognitive Behavioral approaches to support my clients in managing their mental health and improving their well-being.

I value taking an intentional, collaborative, and transparent approach to treatment in efforts to support my client’s in moving towards the life they want to live. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each client receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values.

I completed my graduate training at Colorado State University, my pre-doctoral internship at Oregon State University Counseling and Psychological Services Center, and my post-doctoral fellowship at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I am part of the Department of Psychiatry, Division of Psychology, where I provide clinical services to student-athletes and contribute to research/academic initiatives. Prior to becoming a psychologist, I was a multi-sport athlete and swam at a small, Division III school in Baltimore, Maryland.

Consulting and Related Relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Davis has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
